Medical professionals have grown increasingly common in Abu Dhabi’s growing economy, powered in part by the UAE’s fast population growth. Additionally, the UAE’s aging population is predicted to expand by more than half, from 1.1 % now to 4.4 % by 2030. It presented them with a significant dilemma: training and attracting suitable healthcare workers for their city.

Based on the 2015 World Statistic Report of the World Health Organization, there are various opportunities for foreign nurses since only 31 out of 100,000 people in the UAE were nursing workers. The annual median salary for qualified nurses in Abu Dhabi is AED 99,560 or Php1,493,400.

#4 Medical Technologist

Medical technologists, often known as clinical laboratory scientists, are the fourth profession on our list. According to the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi (DOH Abu Dhabi), a shortage of healthcare professionals, particularly Medical Technologists, was found in 2014. The annual median salary for a medical technologist is AED 117,968 or Php 1,769,520.

Doctors or physicians are the highest-paid healthcare professionals in Abu Dhabi. According to the Statistical Yearbook of Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi had a ratio of 3.3 physicians per 1,000 population last 2017, which signifies the high demand for doctors or physicians. The annual median salary of doctors or physicians is AED 433,881 or PHP 6,508,215.
